Finally after so much shouts and negative news delhi gets a positive side of preparation going for CWG 2010.Yes,was the answer for the question which was frequently been asked in one or the other way that wether Venues being prepared or prepared are able to be used for Common wealth games or not.

Common wealth games federation is happy with the progress of preperations going in delhi for games.As per Common wealth games CEO Mike hooper who have shown grave concerns in his last visit “We have given out brickbats when they have been deserved on the progress of the venues, but perhaps it’s time to give out a bouquet, because we are really impressed by the amount of work that has been done in the past couple of months“.

Not to mention that games are just three months away and three crucial venues viz the main Jawaharlal Nehru stadium , the aquatic complex and the athletes village are still not ready however the organisers are pleased with the progress.

Expansion of the city’s metro network and the work on more than 20 major infrastructure are yet to finish before the game.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the R. K. Khanna Tennis Stadium, the Delhi University rugby sevens stadium and the National Stadium for hockey are all open-air venues. Several running and cycling events will be held on roads.There are speculations that outdoor public events might get affected by the weather however the orgainzers and i am sure that many delhites are keeping there fingure crossed for the upcoming major event.
